The new iOS comes with improvements on speed, responsiveness and new features such as Memoji, Screen Time, Do Not Disturb and grouped notifications.
iOS 12 now allows you to create an Emoji of your own; hence Memoji. You can customize the Memoji to match your mood and personality.
iOS 12 also introduces four new Animoji; koala, tiger, ghost and T. rex. The Animoji now respond to wink and tongue gestures.

The Do Not Disturb feature, more like the one Android announced at Google I/O 2018, will enable users to turn off alerts, messages and calls for specific periods.
You can turn on Do Not Disturb for a specific event or location and it will turn off once the event ends or you leave the place.
iOS 12 is compatible with iPhones from 5s up to X, iPad from mini 2 up to 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2nd generation, iPod touch 6th generation.
MacOS Mojave now allows you to work in Dark Mode, helping you focus on your work more.
The Stacks feature allows you to automatically organize files into related categories, helping you to reduce clatter.
With Quick Actions you can work on files without having to open them. Some actions you can perform include rotating images, renaming files, trimming videos and password-protecting documents.
MacOS Mojave also welcomes four new apps; News, Stocks, Home and Voice Memos. The apps were previously only available on iOS.
The new WatchOS 5 now allows you to challenge friends to activities.
Workout now detects when you are moving and alerts you to launch the Workouts app. It will also remind you to end a workout session.
Yoga workout will also accurately give you metrics such as calorie burn.
Hiking has also been introduced in Workout, you can now track elevation and get calorie credits for those hills you conquer.
Advanced running features such as Pace alerts will allow you to choose a target pace and WatchOS 5 will inform you if you’re falling behind or ahead of your target.
Walkie-Talkie is a new feature that allows you to have a one-on-one conversation with another person with a compatible Apple Watch.
Siri has also been updated to be more accurate and more predictive. You no longer need to say “Hey Siri to activate, just raise your wrist.
Apple TV 4K
Apple TV 4K now lets you watch your favorite shows in immersive 3D audio from Dolby Atmos.
You can now turn your iPhone into a remote for your Apple TV. The Apple TV Remote app will be installed automatically once you connect your iPhone to Apple TV.
Signing in to apps on your Apple TV will be a breeze with Autofill. With Autofill on your iOS device you can now access apps on your Apple TV without having to manually type in passwords every time.
