An autopsy conducted by chief government pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor has revealed details of the gruesome manner in which Sharon Otieno was murdered.
The autopsy showed that Sharon was stabbed 3 times on the neck, 4 times on her back and once on the left side of her stomach.
A stab from the back to the front killed the seven-month foetus she was carrying.
Other than the stab wounds, Sharon had strangulation marks on her neck. She also had numerous bruises on other parts of her body, a sign that she struggled with the killers.
There were acid burns on the skin of her backside.
Four used condoms were recovered from the scene of crime, an indication that the victim may have been raped.
DNA samples were collected for further analysis.
