Baringo South Constituents Lose MP Kipchoim to Cancer

Kenyans, particularly Baringo South residents are reeling from sad news that they have lost their MP.

Grace Kipchoim won the Baringo South parliamentary seat on a Jubilee ticket. A feat she achieved while bedridden with stomach cancer.

Kipchoim was unable to campaign due to the illness but still triumphed, thanks to her distinguished service o her people.

She is credited with initiating numerous projects and being on the forefront on matters security.

Kipchoim becomes the second MP to succumb to cancer in the span of a few months. Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze lost the battle to cancer in December, 2017. 

His wife, Edith Nyenze, won the subsequent by-election to succeed him.

May the Almighty give her family, friends and constituents fortitude to bear the loss.
